This year the "Men's One-day Retreat" will be on Saturday, November 15th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The cost will be $10.00 per person. Come and join in the teaching, fellowship & games. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. |

Evangelism Team:
On Saturday evenings our evangelism team is meeting at Calvary Chapel Nampa and traveling to down town Boise together for street evangelism. This is a fun and exciting time to share your faith in Jesus with people who are often searching for something in their lives. If you are interested in joing the team on a Saturday, please contact Pastor Brent Bowden at 989-7952 or the church at 467-7116.

Back to the Basics
"Back to the Basics" classes will be held on October 14, 2008 from 6:00-8:30 pm at the home of Robin George. They will meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. The first meeting this month will be a class on making homemade Christmas cards and dry embossing.

If you would like to join us for the second class of the month we will be meeting on October 28th from 6:00-8:30 pm as well. This class topic is "to be determined".

Missionary Packages
Every year we collect items to send to the missionaries at Christmas. These are packaged up and sent as special reminders that we care about our missionaries at Calvary Chapel Nampa. There is an insert in the bulletin with a list of items you can purchase and drop off here at CCN if you would like to support our misssionaries in this way.

Thanksgiving Baskets
Many families struggle financially during the holiday season and are unable to buy a turkey meal for Thanksgiving. Calvary Chapel Nampa collects food items and delivers them to families in need. If you are interested in donating food or delivering meals at Thanksgiving please see contact information below.

- Take time to praise God for His provisions for your familiy this year.
- Pray for families who have lost their jobs.
- Pray for families who are in basic need of shelter, food and clothing.
