The mission of the prison ministry at the minimum security facility, “the Farm”, is to present the word of God to the men incarcerated.  This is primarily a discipleship focus with an evangelistic undertone.  A strong emphasis is placed on prayer.  We pray continually and by the grace of God many prayer requests are regularly answered.

     Our teaching is a verse by verse expository style teaching using the whole word of God, so we teach from both the Old and the New Testaments.  Our desire is that we might glean from the word of God so that . . . the eyes of our understanding can be enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints is (Eph. 1:18). 

     We meet every Tuesday night from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  The evening is broken into three periods.  The first session is singing and worship.  The second session is prayer, and the third session is devoted to teaching.  If you want to be involved in this dynamic and spirit filled ministry contact Bob Knight.
