Godwin Dingley was called to the ministry 10 years ago. His brother was the senior Pastor of a church and Godwin was the associate Pastor. After several years in that ministry, it was discovered that one of the elders was involved in witchcraft and stealing church funds. In addition to that they were straying from the teaching of the Word and getting into some off base opinion teaching that was not Biblically sound. Godwin tried to show his brother that they were straying away from the Word, but his brother doesn't like confrontation and wouldn't deal with the "sin in the camp". Godwin sought the Lord and felt that he was to come out of that ministry and begin a new work that was primarily based on the teaching of God's Word. He and his elders took time to pray about a name for the church and came up with the name Worship on the Rock. Though his church is only about two years old, they have been very focused on outreach. His church is making sure that the Ni-Vanuatu brethren are hearing the message of Jesus Christ. In two years, they have planted two churches. One is on the large island of Santo and the other was planted on a small island named Motalava. Pastor Godwin is a "straight shooter" and not afraid to lead by example or deal with those who say they are Christians and are not. In my opinion, he is like a modern day Paul who deserves all the support that we can give him.

Dear Calvary Chapel Nampa,

Ministry Update: On August 21, 2007, we returned from Malekula. We faced many people practicing witchcraft and sorcery, kava drunkards, and religious people. We found many with hard hearts. Pastor Larry sent us 30,000 Vatu ($300) and that money has turned 28 souls to accepting Jesus as Lord. Amen. Sick people were healed. Miracles took place and one of the biggest signs was from God. He released one of His angels and he flew 25 meters high above the protestant church building while I was speaking to them about Jesus. This is real. Every village person saw this as an eye witness because of their unbelief. That night, 24 people were weeping before God. The next morning the people were crying inside their church while I was teaching.

There is too much to say but, we are fasting and praying for the Island of Gaua. Please support us. The amount I need is 30,000 Vatu. ($300) We will leave for Gaua on the 19th of November.

Please pray for the upcoming outreach to Gaua.
