About 18 years ago a dream began. It was a dream to one day build a multi-purpose building here at Calvary Chapel Nampa. The dream began with steps of faith, from purchasing the land, adding classrooms to the existing building, dedicating the existing building to what is now Calvary Christian School, to having services in the "tent of meetings". Then the Lord provided funds in a special and unique way. The loan company actually came to "us" to see if they could loan "us" (Calvary Chapel Nampa) money to build a new building. And so the dream was almost a reality and building plans began in October of 2006. Around January of 2007 the congregation of Calvary Chapel Nampa went out and prayed over the site where the new building would one day stand. And thus began a winter of wonder as we all watched in anticipation as our new building went up. In the end, our muti-purpose building was just as unique as the way in which it came to be: as unique as Calvary Chapel Nampa. We were able to have our first service in the new building on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007. And the dream was a reality.
